Voglie di Mare is a marine fragrance with far more going on than the category usually allows. The opening stacks sea notes and algae against a basket of fruit, apple, pineapple, blackcurrant and melon, with mint, fir, pink pepper and ginger keeping it brisk. Water lily, cyclamen and sea rose form a watery floral heart edged with juniper and artemisia, before oakmoss, cedarwood, a touch of leather and ambergris give the base its salty warmth.
Fresh at the top and mineral at the bottom, it stays marine from start to finish instead of fading into plain musk.
