The One and Only Oud is the heavyweight of the Profumi d'Art line. Plum, apple and strawberry give the opening a dark fruit sweetness, while cumin adds a warm, slightly animalic edge that tells you where it is going. Rose, carnation and saffron form a spiced floral heart, then the base piles on agarwood, cypriol, leather, castoreum and civet, softened by vanilla, frankincense and ambergris.
Dense and resinous, with real animalic depth, closer in spirit to traditional oud oils than to the sweet modern style.
