Odyssey Aoud is the darkest thing in the Odyssey line and the least like the rest of it. Saffron and nutmeg open dry and slightly bitter, lavender sitting underneath to keep it from turning medicinal, then the oud arrives and takes over. It is a clean modern oud rather than a barnyard one, more woodsmoke than animal.
Patchouli and ambroxan hold the base, and it wears closer to the skin than its opening suggests.
For cooler evenings and anyone who finds the fruity Armafs too easy.
