The Elixir takes the mandarin and caramel spine of the original and builds something heavier on top of it. Cardamom and black pepper join the citrus opening, which gives it a spiced bite the first version never had, and incense runs through the heart alongside the caramel and tonka.
Vanilla and vetiver close it out, warmer and denser than the original, and it lasts noticeably longer.
